May/summer financial aid dates and deadlines, 2009
Please pay close attention to these important timelines.

| May 2009: first two weeks | May/summer awarding begins: undergraduates, Law, and Graduate School students |
| May 24 | Last day to work using fall/spring work-study awards |
| May 26 | May session classes begin Law School financial aid disbursement begins Summer 2009 work-study awards may now be used |
| June 1 | Law School summer session classes begin |
| June 8 | Summer financial aid disbursement begins |
| June 12 | End of three-week May session |
| June 15 | Summer term classes begin |
| June 24 | Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be received by the federal processor for May/summer Minnesota State Grant consideration |
| June 28 | DEADLINE: You must complete all May/summer registration |
| June 30 | DEADLINE: The federal processor must have received your 2008-2009 FAFSA on or before this date. Be sure to include the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities school code—003969 on the FAFSA so that your information will be sent to the University. If you have already filed a 2008-2009 FAFSA but did not request school code 003969, please see a One Stop counselor. |
